If The Universe Speaks, Will You Listen.

Vulnerability is a crazy thing. That moment when you realize that you could suddenly be emotionally victim to something. No matter how minor or major – just knowing that you could be let down, hurt, or disappointed. We choose to allow that to happen.

Often times we run around through the world so closed off that nothing can get through. We’ve been hurt, let down, and disappointed too many times to keep allowing ourselves to become a victim – for whatever reason.

We learn to get comfortable with our freedom that comes with a degree of loneliness and isolation. For a good while I believe this is a positive thing – to allow ourselves to grow and learn and to become a more evolved version of ourselves. The time frame I believe varies from person-to-person – there are many variables.

This is where it all starts. We refuse to allow anything else in so that we CAN grow and we CAN evolvewe need the excess time we get from isolation to work on ourselves. To Conquer our own demons. To create good positive habits. Make new friends. Learn more about yourself. But in the same token we in a way shut ourselves off from one of the most important aspects of society – emotional interaction.

Love comes in all forms – genuine friendship, a significant other, just being kind, and many other ways. We ALL know that. Love is the driving force behind your life. Behind everyone’s life. With love comes positivity – when we are expressing love we are happy and therefore we are positive. We are overall in a more healthy and positive mindset and so better things tend to happen and life seems grand.

Life is grand. Life is grand because you have been maintaining a positive and healthy vibration with someone whom you are vulnerable to and for most of us that means your own vibration is ringing at a higher frequency – which will only cause us to be that much more positive.

Love and positivity are the universal energies in this life. Like attracts like. Positive energy will draw more positivity into your life and love can only do the same. The more you’re kind to people, the more you smile, the less you judge, and the more open you are the better your interactions will be with any other human on the day-to-day basis. This is the most basic expression of love. A genuine act of kindness to a complete stranger.

“The more you give love, the more you get love.” – Snoop Lion

To express love we have to be vulnerable. Because that means we open ourselves up to being disappointed, hurt, and let down.

Its fucking scary.

It’s like the moment when a roller coaster slowly comes to a stop and clicks in place at the top of its climb. The nerves, the butterflies, the what if’s – your mind is going 100mph and your heart is beating along right behind it. The anticipation of the unknown. Understanding that there could be a negative outcome.

The What-If?

Is it worth it? Can I do it? We ask ourselves this question in some way or another.

So what do we tend to do after we’ve been hurt, disappointed, and let down? We slowly begin to close bits and pieces of ourselves off. It becomes more difficult to open up and be vulnerable. To be natural. We unconsciously guard ourselves from future pain. Sometimes this is healthy – but more times than not we are emotionally hurting ourselves by refusing to get close to anything or anyone again.

We might even do this when we actually feel something but can’t handle the thought of the risk.

The pain is too easy to remember and too hard to forget.

We go through life not fully living. We become shutoff. Emotionally distant to those around you. Staying protected because it’s easier to not risk it than take that step into the unknown again.

Then one day – whether it stems from loneliness or truly being mentally prepared, we decide it’s time to “look” again. Keep the options open. And then here is where there is a shift in energy – your positive outlook on possibly finding someone is transmitting that same energy back into the universe and it will be heard – but at the unknown’s discretion.

Whenever that day comes, we meet someone, you get to know each other – you slowly decide who can be worth the risk and who can’t be.

Sometimes, the universe decides.

Once in a great while the universe must decide to hit you with a curve ball. The energy of the universe decides to have certain things happen – to align with your energy. Often times, this is due to your mindset and the direction of your own personal energy. Other times, the universe shoves it in your face. Boldly presenting an organic situation that is made up only of starstuff and the cosmos. The most powerful and natural energies of the world at work.

The most beautiful energy.

It is of course your discretion if you act or not.

Of course, we must make opportunities happen but do not discount the fact that the universe is often times working in your favor – you just have to choose to see the energy at work. But the universe WILL speak to you. You will internally know if the frequency is matching yours. There’s a certain chemistry that arises that is indescribable and captivating. The world is suddenly brighter. You have to decide in that moment or it will forever vanish.

In that moment we must decide if we should allow a momentarily trip to vulnerability. At the most basic of circumstances – a letdown is still a letdown.

An experience of disappointment.

But then if its positive we are elated. We are beating at a higher frequency.

When your frequencies are instantly beating to the same tune – the universe is doing something special for you. The ability to feel. To be open. Natural. To smile.

But then we must decide, is it worth it? What-if? It all begins to pour in.

Suddenly, you’re aware you’ve become vulnerable and have to make a decision to continue forward or not. Will this be worth it? Can I do it again? How?

I’ve learned to be more positive and to give more love over the years. I’ve learned to start listening to my heartmy gut instinct – and to pay attention to the universe. To recognize real organic happiness – things that truly make me happier.

The question is if the juice is worth the squeeze?

And.

The universe never disappoints.
