Be hungry, like a shark.

The only thing on the mind of a shark is eat. That’s what it all comes down to.

If you want it, you have to be hungry.

How bad do you want it?

You have to want it so bad that you allow it to consume you.

You must be ready to battle the mind – and win.

Goals are what I’m referring to.

Find your passion, the thing that makes you tick, and then pursue it with relentless determination.

You have to be willing to have early mornings and late nights. You must be prepared to have a small network of friends and a minimal social life.

You must be willing to sacrifice what you want now for what you want in the long term.

The art of delayed gratification.

Understand that sacrifice walks side by side with success.

We are all the creators of our own destiny. We have the capability to create our journey and the life that we want. It will not happen overnight and sure as fuck won’t be easy but I promise that it will be worth it. There will come times when we question everything that we are doing and working for – there will certainly be times of doubt. There will be challenges and obstacles that will arise that will surely challenge us both mentally and physically.

These moments are the things that will ultimately shape us into the individual that we are to become. We must understand these hard times for what they are – a moment in time for us to grow and to learn. To evolve.

On our journey through life there will be many different challenges and at times we may stray off the path from time to time but as long as we keep our passion and goals on the forefront of our mind we will always get to where we are supposed to be. We may veer off to the left or to the right but if we remain diligent in our belief in ourselves and our focus on our goals we will continue moving forward. We can’t beat ourselves up for straying off the path in one direction or “falling off” because this is entirely human.

We are going to fuck up. We are going to make mistakes. Get lost. Forget things. Miss opportunities. Feel weak. This is a part of life. This is how we learn. Mistakes are only mistakes if we continue to repeat them and never learn.

Time is the most valuable thing we have in life and we cannot afford to become transfixed on “mistakes” but rather we must learn to accept things as they happen and continue to build positive momentum, learn, and move on.

We must focus on the things that we can control and nothing else.

That means not holding onto the past. Not judging ourselves based on previous failures or the expectations of others.

We have to learn to repattern our thought processes. We have to catch ourselves in the moments of negativity and take a moment and breathe. Center ourselves and refocus on the positive things. Taking negative words and thoughts out of our heads and refilling them with positive emotions and words.

Above all else, we can never give up. We must think about the future on a macro scale but have a micro work ethic. You have to be willing to work your ass off now for the reward later. Macro patience. Be calm, stay focus, and be thankful.

Live your life and enjoy the moment – be present. Don’t quit working for what you want.

Push yourself past your limits. Get comfortable with being uncomfortable. The limitations we place on ourselves are 100% conceptual limitations that are being created by the mind. We are far more powerful than what we are taught or conditioned to believe.

Greatness lives within you.

Dare to be great.

Find your why. Know your why. Live your why.

Never let it go.

Chase your greatness with unwavering determination.

Be strong friends and believe in yourself.

Your greatness is waiting on you.
